16 Alpha announced the appointment of Priyanshu Priyank, aged 22, as the Fund Manager of the 16 Alpha Alternatives Technologies Fund, thereby making him the youngest fund manager in India.
Background of 16 Alpha and Fund Launches
The firm, founded by Pushan Jain, launched its first SEBI‑registered Category III Alternative Investment Fund in February 2025. Following the initial fund’s success, a second Category III AIF was launched in August 2026.

According to 16 Alpha, both funds have outperformed their respective benchmark indices since inception.
