Press Release – 1win Charity Tree‑Planting Initiative
On July 8 2026, 1win Charity announced the completion of a large‑scale afforestation drive in the Bhiwani district of Haryana, India. In partnership with environmental activist and social‑media creator Adesh Soni, founder of the Touchforearth project, the charity planted 100,000 palm trees across previously deserted lands in the village of Paju.
The operation mobilised more than 100 volunteers who dedicated ten days to clearing the terrain, preparing the soil, transporting saplings and planting the trees across several acres. Drone footage and documentary‑style videos captured the transformation from barren ground to newly green zones, which were shared on Instagram handles @Touchforearth and @1win.charity.
Adesh Soni stated, “One campaign, but years of green life brought by 1win Charity. Projects like this show how businesses can go beyond words and directly invest in solving local problems. Planting 100,000 trees has the potential to improve air quality, support biodiversity, help restore soil health, and create new feeding areas for local species for years to come.”
Village representative Mr. Ramesh expressed gratitude, noting that the region experiences extreme heat due to its proximity to Rajasthan and that increasing green cover is vital for a healthier, more sustainable future. He pledged the community’s commitment to nurture and protect the newly planted trees.
