ABD Clarifies Dr. Pradipta Basu's Continued SMP Status

Appointment of Mr. Bikram Basu:

Mr. Bikram Basu, currently the Managing Director of ABDM, has been appointed as Group Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer and SMP of Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited.
Effective date: August 1, 2026
He will continue to oversee operations of ABDM.
Mr. Basu brings 31 years of experience in the spirits industry, having worked with United Spirits (6 years), Pernod Ricard India (14 years), and ABD (11 years).
His previous roles include Business and Brand Strategy, Marketing and Sales.
He has served as Vice Chairman of CIABC (2015-2018) and is currently on the Board of CIABC.
Education: Bachelor of Commerce, MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur (1994), Executive Development certificate from INSEAD.

Clarification on Dr. Pradipta Basu:

Contrary to the July 23, 2026 disclosure which stated Dr. Pradipta Basu would cease to be classified as an SMP, this clarification confirms he will continue to be designated and classified as an SMP of the Company.
Dr. Pradipta Basu will continue in his role as Chief Marketing Officer of the Company.
He will report to Mr. Bikram Basu, Group Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer.
The cessation of his SMP classification mentioned in the July 23 disclosure is effectively reversed by this clarification.

The Board of Directors approved these changes at its meeting held on July 23, 2026.
The decision was based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
The Board Meeting commenced at 3:02 PM (IST) and concluded at 6:10 PM (IST).
