Joint Venture Overview
Abhijeet Dies & Tools Pvt. Ltd., a Pune‑based Indian tooling and plastics manufacturer with more than four decades of experience, and INEVO S.r.l., an Italian specialist in high‑precision injection mould technology founded from the 2020 spin‑off of INglass’s mould division, formally signed a strategic joint venture named Abhinevo Technologies Private Limited on 28 September 2026 in Pune. The signing ceremony was attended by senior executives including Mr. Jayamurugan Thangavel (CEO, Abhijeet Group), Mr. Abhijeet Raut (Director, Abhijeet Dies & Tools), Mr. Luigi Cover (CEO, INEVO), Mr. Roberto Fagarazzi (Managing Director – Sales, INEVO), Mr. Andreas Popp (MD, INEVO GmbH), and Mr. Nikhil Raut (Director, Abhijeet Dies & Tools). Ms. Palak Sahni of the Italian Trade Agency joined virtually, while representatives of Crescendo Worldwide – Mrs. Jalpa Jadhav and Mr. Makrand Kolekar – were also present.
The collaboration builds on a Memorandum of Understanding signed in June 2025 after Crescendo Worldwide facilitated introductions, discussions, and site visits between the two parties. The joint venture aims to combine INEVO’s European expertise in sophisticated injection moulds, multi‑material and multi‑colour moulding, automotive lighting tooling, In‑Mould Decoration (IMD), In‑Mould Labelling (IML), decorative and functional foil integration, and advanced surface technologies with Abhijeet’s extensive engineering, tooling, and plastics‑manufacturing capabilities.
Technology Focus
Abhinevo Technologies will initially concentrate on a portfolio of advanced manufacturing technologies, including:
- 2K and multi‑component mould technology,
- Polyurethane (PUR)‑based advanced surface technologies,
- IMD, IML, and in‑mould coating processes,
- Functional and decorative film integration,
- Advanced mould engineering, process simulation, and optimisation.
These technologies are targeted at automotive interior and exterior components, decorative and functional plastic parts, smart surfaces, and other complex plastic assemblies. The advanced processes are expected to deliver greater design flexibility, functional integration, improved surface quality, dimensional consistency, repeatable processes, and reduced secondary operations.
Strategic Rationale and Expected Benefits
The JV is positioned to strengthen India’s manufacturing ecosystem by localising sophisticated tooling and process capabilities that were previously imported. By offering end‑to‑end solutions—from product and process engineering, tool design and simulation, through to tool manufacturing, trials, validation, industrialisation, and production support—the partnership seeks to enable shorter development cycles, faster trial iterations, higher localisation ratios, and access to globally benchmarked manufacturing quality for Indian automotive OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers. The collaboration also intends to serve international markets, leveraging INEVO’s export‑oriented business model (more than 80 % export share and over 100 injection tools produced annually) and Abhijeet’s established domestic presence.
Facilitator Role
Crescendo Worldwide played a pivotal role from early 2025, identifying potential technology partners for Abhijeet, coordinating discussions, and managing the due‑diligence process that culminated in the MoU and eventual joint‑venture signing.
Outlook
Abhinevo Technologies plans to progressively roll out its advanced tooling solutions across Indian and global automotive and plastics‑processing customers, with an emphasis on building local technical competence, reducing reliance on imported technologies, and delivering commercially viable manufacturing solutions that meet globally benchmarked quality standards.
