Abu Dhabi Invests $1.7B in Sphere

DCT Abu Dhabi will invest USD 1.7 billion to build Sphere Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, slated for completion by end‑2029.
The venue will seat up to 20,000, host experiences, concerts, sports spectacles and events, showcasing Emirati culture on the Exosphere LED screen.
Sphere Abu Dhabi, the first outside the U.S., aims to boost tourism, diversify Abu Dhabi’s economy and generate thousands of local jobs.
