Resignation: Mr. Basil Dange has tendered his resignation from the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Senior Management Personnel of the Company due to personal reasons. His resignation has been accepted by the Company effective from the close of business hours of September 25, 2026.
Appointment: The Board of Directors of the Company, based on the recommendation of the Nomination, Remuneration and Compensation Committee, has approved the appointment of Mr. Rishi Awasthi as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and a Senior Management Personnel of the Company. The appointment is effective from October 1, 2026.

Professional Background: Mr. Rishi Awasthi is an Information Security and Cyber Risk Professional with over 14 years of experience across BFSI, Technology, Telecom and Consulting sectors. He has been associated with Aditya Birla Capital Limited ('ABCL') since May 2023 as Lead - Privacy and IS Audit, where he is responsible for driving enterprise-wide initiatives relating to Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and Data Privacy.
Previous Experience: Prior to joining ABCL, Mr. Awasthi worked with RSM India, Willis Towers Watson, Deloitte India and Tata Consultancy Services where he held roles spanning Cyber Security, IT Assurance and Technology Risk.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in IT Business Management
- General Management Programme from ISB
Professional Certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE and Associate C CISO, among other globally recognized Cybersecurity credentials.
