Announcement Overview
AGON by AOC, the world’s No.1 gaming monitor brand for seven consecutive years according to the 2025 IDC report, unveiled three new G4‑series gaming monitors on 6 August 2026 in Taipei. The models are the 31.5‑inch curved CQ32G4Z and two 27‑inch variants, Q27G40ZE2 and Q27G41ZE2.
Key Technology
All three monitors incorporate AGON’s proprietary Triple Refresh Rate technology, which allows users to select among three preset refresh‑rate and resolution configurations: QHD at 260 Hz for high visual detail, Full HD at 360 Hz for competitive smoothness, and HD at 500 Hz for ultra‑fast racing or action titles. The adaptive switching enables instant mode changes without manual recalibration.
Performance Specifications
Each display offers a 0.3 ms motion picture response time (MPRT) to minimise motion blur, and is equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G‑SYNC Compatible certification to eliminate screen tearing. Additional gamer‑focused eye‑protection features are included to reduce strain during prolonged sessions.
Executive Comment
Lidong Yan, Vice President and Head of AOC’s Monitor Business Unit, stated that the Triple Refresh Rate monitors combine speed, visual clarity and versatility for all gamer types, and that the technology will keep AGON competitive in esports and entertainment markets.
Strategic Outlook
The company indicated that, as the pioneer of Triple Refresh Rate displays, it will continue expanding its portfolio with further innovative gaming monitors, aiming to reinforce its leadership in gaming‑display innovation worldwide.
