Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh met with Subhash Dawar, proprietor of Alliance Machine, at a ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ in Surat. During the discussion, Dawar briefed the minister on the features, functioning and applications of Alliance’s embroidery machines. The minister asked several questions regarding the machines’ capabilities, operation and potential to generate employment, and expressed pleasure upon seeing an image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi created on the company’s embroidery machine.
Giriraj Singh conveyed appreciation for the company’s technological capabilities and congratulated Alliance Machine on its work. He also assured Dawar of support from the Union Ministry of Textiles for efforts aimed at developing local manufacturing of Alliance’s embroidery machines in Surat. Dawar emphasized that the machines are currently providing livelihoods to thousands of people, underscoring the employment opportunities the technology can create.
The meeting was described by Dawar as a significant opportunity to showcase the employment potential of his machines to the Union Textiles Minister and to seek governmental backing that could strengthen Surat’s role in the textile and embroidery‑machinery sector.
