Alpa Laboratories Ltd has disclosed pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 that the company has accorded approval in principle for exploring the proposed promotion and incorporation of an overseas company in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The proposed entity will be incorporated under the name "Alpa Biopharm Limited" (or such other name as may be approved by competent authorities).
The venture is being pursued in association with Blueseal Pharmaceuticals Limited, Nigeria. The approval is subject to applicable statutory, regulatory and other necessary approvals wherever required.
The proposed entity, if incorporated, is intended to undertake pharmaceutical and healthcare-related business activities. The specific details regarding proposed shareholding, capital contribution, investment, governance structure and other terms shall be considered separately in accordance with applicable laws and necessary approvals.
This disclosure is made at the stage of approval in principle only. The company clarifies that the proposed company has not been incorporated as of the date of this disclosure (29th July, 2026), and no investment has been made by the company. Appropriate disclosures will be made upon the occurrence of any material event in the future.
