Altimetrik Joins the World Economic Forum’s Centre for AI Excellence
On July 16, 2026, Altimetrik, an AI‑native engineering company headquartered in Bengaluru, announced its membership in the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Centre for AI Excellence. The collaboration is intended to leverage Altimetrik’s expertise in AI engineering, data, and platform foundations to influence global standards for the responsible adoption and enterprise‑scale deployment of artificial intelligence.
Altimetrik will contribute its ALTi AIOS™ (AI Operating System), a platform designed specifically for the brownfield realities of large enterprises. The operating system is supported by more than 10,000 engineering practitioners who deliver AI in production across the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector, manufacturing, retail, automotive, healthcare, and life‑sciences industries.
Executive remarks
- Raj Sundaresan, Chief Executive Officer, described the WEF partnership as a milestone and emphasized that “real transformation requires more than deploying tools; it requires organizations to be engineered to run AI responsibly, securely, and at scale.”
- Niraj Nagrani, Chief Data and AI Officer, explained that ALTi AIOS™ abstracts the complexity of legacy systems, standardizes interaction, and embeds governance, enabling AI to move from isolated pilots to enterprise‑wide execution.
The WEF Centre for AI Excellence focuses on three workstreams: accelerating impactful innovation, preparing industries and societies for the Intelligent Era, and promoting trustworthy technology through effective governance. Altimetrik joins a cohort of global organizations that will provide engineering depth, sector expertise, and applied research to these workstreams.
