Altimetrik, an AI‑native engineering firm, announced on 28 July 2026 from Bengaluru the launch of an industrial AI service line. The line comprises three solutions—Smart Machines, Smart Plants and Smart Operations—designed to move manufacturers from isolated AI pilots to production‑scale industrial intelligence.

Solutions

  • Smart Machines converts equipment into self‑aware, adaptive systems using edge‑native intelligence, machine connectivity, digital twins, closed‑loop optimisation and predictive maintenance to detect and correct issues before disruption, thereby reducing downtime and improving equipment performance.
  • Smart Plants extends the capability to the factory floor, integrating plant‑wide data, OEE and throughput intelligence and quality‑prediction systems to enable perception‑decision‑action autonomy, aiming for zero‑touch operations, higher yield and shorter cycle times while lowering labour and quality costs.
  • Smart Operations carries AI across the broader manufacturing value chain, applying service and supply‑chain analytics to strengthen operational resilience, cut working‑capital requirements and open new revenue streams.

The solutions are applicable to semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, defence, industrial‑machinery OEM and pharmaceutical sectors, among others, and can be deployed independently or as an integrated system.

Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) Limited, a leading Indian engineering conglomerate in textile machinery and machine tools, has engaged Altimetrik to embed AI and ML capabilities across its textile and machine‑tool businesses.
