Aludecor Launches STONESENSE Engineered Stone‑Finish Surface System
Aludecor Lamination Private Limited, a Kolkata‑based pioneer in metal composite panel manufacturing, announced on 28 October 2026 the commercial launch of STONESENSE, an engineered stone‑finish surface system designed to provide the visual depth of natural stone while eliminating its structural limitations.
STONESENSE is offered in three distinct material expressions that mimic geological formations: Igneous Depths (Andes Stone, Ukraine Stone, Bruges Stone, Etna Stone, Aravalli Stone, Romanza Stone), Sedimentary Calm (Aegean Stone, Santorini Stone, Riviera Stone, Iceland Stone, Ural Stone, Nile Stone) and Mineral Warmth (Sahara Stone, Himalaya Stone, Fuji Stone, Deccan Stone, Atlas Stone, Tuscany Stone). Each collection comprises six stone‑inspired finishes, delivering a total of eighteen design options.
The panels are engineered for real‑world performance, featuring advanced fade resistance, delamination resistance, precise texture uniformity and exceptional bending flexibility. They are suitable for both interior and exterior applications, including building façades, feature walls, entrances, canopies and intricate architectural accents.
Manufacturing leverages Aludecor’s 205 in‑house quality tests and utilizes direct‑chill (DC) aluminium coils combined with high‑durability coating systems to ensure flatness, formability and long‑term colour vibrancy. The product line complies with stringent global building safety standards, being available in fire‑retardant grades Class B and Class A2, and is supported by FPC certification and testing in an in‑house NABL‑accredited fire laboratory.
Speaking at the launch, Chairman & Managing Director Ashok Kumar Bhaiya stated that STONESENSE "reimagines natural stone’s timeless legacy for today’s design challenges, bringing together visual weight and sensory richness of stone with the engineering precision, durability and lightness of advanced metal composite technology."
