Fireside Chat Highlights
On Monday, July 6, 2026, Marwadi University in Rajkot, Gujarat hosted a fireside chat as part of its Orientation Programme for the incoming first‑year batch. The session featured Mr. Aman Gupta, co‑founder of boAt and founder & CEO of OFF/BEAT, who spoke to more than 650 students.

Marwadi University’s Trustee, Mr. Dhruv Marwadi, highlighted the university’s Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Research, noting that each student startup idea receives INR 2.5 lakhs in funding. He stressed the interdisciplinary nature of the university, citing engineering, nursing, management, computer applications, and law students collaborating in founding teams.
The event reinforced the university’s commitment to experiential learning beyond textbooks, aiming to expose students to leaders who have reshaped industries through perseverance and customer‑first innovation.
