American Honda June Sales Up 17%
American Honda Motor reported that total U.S. sales for June 2026 rose 17% year‑over‑year to 133,781 units, delivering the company’s strongest June performance in the past five years. For the first half of 2026 the company sold 756,920 units, a 2.4% increase from the same period in 2025, representing its best half‑year and quarterly results since 2021.
Honda‑branded vehicles accounted for 687,205 units in the first half, up 2.5% YoY. June sales for the Honda brand grew 17%, with hybrid models comprising roughly 30% of total Honda sales and CR‑V hybrid trims representing 51% of the model’s June volume.
Honda passenger‑car sales posted their strongest June, first‑half, and quarter figures in five years, with June sales up 28%, first‑half sales up 14%, and quarter sales up 20%.
The CR‑V remained the top‑selling SUV in the United States for 2026, achieving first‑half sales of more than 226,114 units, a 6% rise over the prior year. CR‑V hybrid deliveries reached an all‑time high of 124,017 units in the first half.
Passport sales totaled a record 30,360 units in the first half, with TrailSport trims accounting for over 80% of those sales.
Accord sales increased by more than 32% in the first half and 41% for the quarter, with hybrid trims making up 43% of the model’s sales mix.
Acura brand sales grew 13% in June and 2% in the first half, reaching 69,715 units, the best first‑half performance since 2023. The Acura ADX recorded June sales exceeding 3,100 units, up 58% year‑over‑year, and year‑to‑date sales of 16,554 units, representing approximately 30% of retail sales in its segment.
Integra sales surged 85% in June, while first‑half sales rose 42% to over 14,000 units, maintaining more than 40% of retail sales in its segment.
