Amity Institute of Pharmacy Receives ‘A’ Grade Accreditation
On July 29, 2026, Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP), a constituent of Amity University Madhya Pradesh, announced that it has been awarded the prestigious ‘A’ Grade by the Quality Council of India‑National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (QCI‑NABET). The assessment was conducted under the aegis of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) following a comprehensive institutional inspection and evaluation.
The accreditation places AIP as the only pharmacy institution in Madhya Pradesh to receive an ‘A’ Grade from QCI‑NABET under PCI. Nationally, only 64 pharmacy institutions have earned this distinction out of a total of 398 institutions across the country offering B.Pharmacy and related programmes. The QCI‑NABET assessment, part of the National Ranking & Rating of Pharmacy Colleges Offering UG Programmes, evaluated the institute on multiple quality parameters, recognising excellence in academic quality, robust governance, modern infrastructure, industry‑oriented curriculum, research and innovation, and a student‑centric learning environment.
Speaking on the achievement, Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma, AVSM (Retd.), Pro Chancellor of Amity University Madhya Pradesh, described the recognition as a proud moment for the Amity community, stating that receiving an ‘A’ Grade is a testament to the university’s relentless pursuit of academic excellence and quality‑driven education. He highlighted that being the sole pharmacy institution in the state with this grade reflects the dedication of faculty, staff, students and all stakeholders in upholding the highest standards of teaching, research and innovation.
Prof. (Dr.) R.S. Tomar, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Madhya Pradesh, congratulated the faculty, students and staff of AIP and urged them to continue pushing the boundaries of research and innovation, translating knowledge into solutions that address emerging healthcare challenges and create lasting societal impact.
