Amrize Inc (NYSE: AMRZ) shares declined 3.9% in after‑hours trading on Monday following the disclosure that Chief Financial Officer Baris Oran will step down for personal reasons. The company announced that Samuel J. Poletti will succeed him as CFO, effective August 24, and that Dillon Cumming will assume the role of Vice President of Investor Relations on September 8.
Leadership Changes
Samuel J. Poletti has served as Amrize’s Chief Strategy and M&A Officer since the company’s NYSE listing in June 2025, where he led the spin‑off that created the independent entity. Prior to joining Amrize, Poletti spent more than 20 years at Holcim, managing transformational acquisitions in the Building Envelope segment that doubled Holcim’s North American business. As CFO, Poletti will be based at Amrize’s operational headquarters in Chicago.

Dillon Cumming joins Amrize from Walleye Capital, where he led financial and strategic analysis of the Industrials sector. He previously headed coverage of building‑materials companies at Morgan Stanley as Vice President, Equity Research – Head of US Machinery & Construction. In his new role, Cumming will lead the global investor‑relations team and serve as the primary liaison to the investment community.
