Announcement
Amway India, a leading FMCG direct‑selling company, announced the launch of Nutrilite Ayurveda, a new portfolio that brings together nine Ayurveda innovations under the Nutrilite brand. The launch is positioned as a strategic push aligned with India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision and the government’s AYUSH ecosystem strengthening.
Product Portfolio
The first phase introduces three formulations: Kalamegha (supporting healthy liver function), Shigru (moringa, aimed at reducing extra fat deposition and inflammation) and Vrikshamla (garcinia, intended to improve metabolism and satiety). All nine products are AYUSH‑registered and are built on authentic Ayurvedic botanicals sourced from organically cultivated Nutricert‑certified farms.
Financial Target
Amway India stated its ambition to build the Nutrilite Ayurveda line into a INR 100 crore category within the next two years, reflecting confidence in growing consumer demand for plant‑based, preventive healthcare.
Manufacturing & Sourcing
Production will be carried out at Amway India’s state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Nilakotai, Dindigul district, Tamil Nadu. The plant has earned LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, underscoring its environmental sustainability. The company emphasizes responsible sourcing, traceability, and support for local farmers as part of the broader economic value chain.
Quality & Regulatory
Each Nutrilite Ayurveda formulation undergoes rigorous quality controls, including DNA fingerprinting, active ingredient testing, and seed‑to‑supplement traceability. Multi‑step testing covers contaminants, heavy metals, microbiological safety, and consistency of key marker compounds, exceeding basic regulatory requirements. The AYUSH registration further reinforces compliance with applicable Indian regulatory frameworks.
Pricing & Availability
The three launch products are priced at INR 449 for Kalamegha (30 tablets), INR 651 for Shigru (60 tablets) and INR 449 for Vrikshamla (30 tablets). They will be available from 8 September 2026 across all Amway‑authorised channels, including Amway Business Owners/Distributors, Amway stores, and the e‑commerce portal www.amway.in.
