The university conducted the second edition of Open House 2026 on 23‑24 May 2026 at its Ahmedabad campus, attracting close to 400 students and parents from more than 40 Indian cities.
Over 30 Anant faculty members led hands‑on workshops, studio walkthroughs, mentor sessions and alumni interactions; a drum‑circle session added a cultural element.
The programme emphasized design as a discipline rooted in critical thinking, systems understanding, innovation, sustainability, technology and interdisciplinary learning, showcasing the DesignX pedagogy and undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in design, architecture, climate action and visual arts.
Alumni shared their post‑graduation journeys, highlighting placements, entrepreneurship and higher‑education opportunities at global institutions.
Anant National University is recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the Government of Gujarat and received a 5‑star rating in Architecture and a 4‑star rating in the University category in the Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework (GSIRF) 2023‑24.
The event aimed to inform families about the scope, relevance and career potential of design education and to demonstrate how design can address complex social, environmental and technological challenges.
