Anthropic Claude Platform Launches on AWS

AWS now offers Anthropic's Claude Platform via native API, removing the need for separate credentials and billing arrangements.
Customers authenticate using existing IAM credentials or API keys and receive consumption‑based billing through AWS Marketplace, with activity logged in CloudTrail.
The service provides Messages API, Claude Managed Agents, advisor tool, web search, code execution, and files API across 19 AWS regions globally.
Usage can be monitored workspace in Claude Console, with costs shown in AWS Cost Explorer and tags for allocation, complementing Bedrock access.
