Anthropic agreed terms for a $30 billion fundraising round valuing the company at roughly $900 billion, nearly triple its valuation three months ago.
The round, co‑led by Dragoneer Investment Group, Greenoaks Capital, Sequoia Capital and Altimeter Capital, expects each lead to invest at least $2 billion.
Anthropic’s annualised revenue is projected to exceed $45 billion soon, a five‑fold increase from $9 billion at end‑2023.
The valuation would place Anthropic ahead of rival OpenAI, which was recently valued at about $852 billion.
