This marks the first Japanese FDI into India's WTE sector, with JFE handling EPC and technology transfer.
Each plant processes 1,000 TPD MSW, generates 15 MW power, with PPA tariff ₹8.10/unit and total revenue ~₹3,200 crores over 20 years.
