Overview
Anurag University and KETO Motors signed a Memorandum of Understanding on August 25 2026 in Hyderabad, establishing a five‑year framework for collaboration in electric‑vehicle (EV) technology, industry engagement, research and skill development.
Parties and Signatories
The MoU was executed by Mr. Venkatesh Challa, Director of KETO Motors, and Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice‑Chancellor of Anurag University. The meeting was attended by senior university officials—including Associate Vice President‑Strategy Mr. Anurag Palla, Dean Dr. V. Vijay Kumar, Director of the Office of Industry Alliances Dr. Siddartha Ghosh, and heads of the Centre of Excellence‑EV, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering—and by KETO Motors representatives such as Chief Technical Officer Mr. Ashokkumar T, Vice President Mr. Ghadil VN, Project Manager Mr. Jawaid Shaheer, Procurement Head Mr. Nitin Paras (tentative), HR Head Ms. Sonam Rout and HR Executive Ms. Piyusha.
Scope of Collaboration
The agreement covers student internships and placements, technical training and certification programmes, industry‑driven research and development projects, consultancy assignments, curriculum inputs, and mentorship of faculty and students in engineering research. KETO Motors will deliver an initial industry‑driven consultancy project and will support the establishment and strengthening of the university’s Centre of Excellence in EV Technology.
Institutional Background
Anurag University, a state‑private university founded in 2020 in Telangana, spans more than 150 acres, enrolls over 15,000 students and offers more than 70 undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across engineering, management, pharmacy, agricultural, medical, nursing and international education. The university is consistently ranked by NIRF, Times Engineering Survey, The WEEK and Careers360 and maintains collaborations with over 20 universities in 13 countries. KETO Motors, founded by Indian entrepreneurs, focuses on clean mobility and has introduced BYD electric buses to the Indian market.

Duration
The MoU remains effective for five years from the date of signing, providing a sustained framework for collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange.
