Press Release – September 1 2026, Taipei

AOC’s AGON gaming brand issued a press release on September 1, 2026 announcing the launch of the AGP327KG, marketed as the world’s first 5K gaming monitor equipped with NVIDIA G‑SYNC Pulsar technology. The monitor delivers a native resolution of 5,120 × 2,880 pixels and incorporates a variable refresh‑rate (VRR) system that provides tear‑free, smooth gameplay while dramatically enhancing effective motion clarity for fast‑moving objects.

The G‑SYNC Pulsar engine is described as a major advancement that improves motion precision, allowing gamers to track rapid action with greater visual fidelity. In addition, the monitor features G‑SYNC Ambient Adaptive Technology, which uses an integrated ambient‑light sensor to automatically adjust both brightness and colour temperature in response to surrounding lighting conditions, ensuring consistent image presentation throughout the day.

Quote: “G‑SYNC Pulsar represents a major advancement in gaming display technology, bringing the ultimate motion clarity alongside variable refresh rate gaming,” said Justin Walker, Senior Director of GeForce Product Management at NVIDIA. “Together with AGON by AOC and the high‑resolution 5K panel in the AGP327KG, we’re giving gamers the ability to experience incredible image detail alongside the smooth, responsive gameplay that G‑SYNC is known for.”

AOC, founded in 1967 and a subsidiary of TPV Technology Limited, positions the AGP327KG as a premium offering for demanding PC gamers and esports professionals. The company will demonstrate the new monitor at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, where it will be displayed at the AGON by AOC booth.
