Apothecon Group announced Shyamakant Giri will become Group CEO effective May 11, 2026, bringing 25+ years pharma leadership.
Giri joins from Gland Pharma Ltd, where he served as CEO overseeing global operations of the listed injectables-focused company.
Apothecon, backed by Everstone Capital, has 800+ staff, India and US facilities, and over 20 ANDAs and 100 dossiers worldwide.
Dr Mahendra Patel, Co‑Founder and Chairman, expressed confidence that Giri’s expertise will unlock the next phase of growth for the company.
