Armstrong Fluid Technology, a global leader in intelligent, energy‑saving fluid‑flow and whole‑building mechanical solutions, presented its latest HVAC offerings at BEX Asia 2026, the premier green‑building and sustainability exhibition held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, on September 2, 2026.
The exhibition booth, located within the Canada National Pavilion, centered on the theme “Intelligent Design and Energy‑Efficient Technology.” Visitors experienced two core technology pillars:
- Intelligent Design – Integrated Designer: A capability embedded in Armstrong’s ADEPT selection tool that consolidates system selection, sizing, real‑time performance estimation, and one‑click export of equipment schedules and submittal packages, eliminating manual calculations and accelerating decision‑making.
- Energy‑Efficient Technology – Design Envelope: Powered by the Design Envelope Permanent Magnet (DEPM) IVS4380 pumps, this system‑level optimization employs sensorless parallel pumping to keep equipment operating within its preferred region as demand fluctuates. The technology acknowledges that HVAC systems operate at roughly 90 % of their hours under part‑load conditions and therefore optimizes the entire system rather than individual components.
Performance envelopes demonstrate that redundancy can be right‑sized from about 70 % of peak capacity for typical commercial buildings to up to 100 % for mission‑critical facilities such as data centres, aligning with ASHRAE guidance. A 3D‑printed model of the Design Envelope 4300 was displayed to illustrate the concept.
