Asian Paints Commences VAE Production at Dahej Facility

Asian Paints Limited has formally intimated the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI LODR Regulations regarding the commencement of commercial production at its Vinyl Acetate Ethylene Emulsion (VAE) manufacturing facility located in Dahej, Gujarat.

• Commercial Production Commencement: The company commenced commercial production of VAE on September 17, 2026.

• Facility Capacity: The VAE manufacturing facility has an installed capacity of 150,000 tons per annum.

• Product Utilization: The VAE produced at this facility is intended to be primarily utilized for captive consumption at the company's paint manufacturing facilities.

• Strategic Significance: This commencement marks a significant milestone in the company's ongoing backward integration initiatives.

• Ongoing Projects: Construction of the Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM) manufacturing facility and ethylene storage and handling facilities at the same Dahej location is currently in progress.
