ASML’s Participation at SEMICON India 2026

ASML, a leading global semiconductor equipment manufacturer, exhibited its holistic lithography solutions at SEMICON India 2026, held in New Delhi from September 17 to 19, occupying Booth #602. The company presented a complete lithography portfolio that combines lithography systems, computational lithography software, metrology and inspection solutions, aimed at helping semiconductor manufacturers optimise performance, improve yield and sustain high‑volume production. The integrated offering is positioned to support customers throughout the lifecycle—from system installation and process optimisation to manufacturing ramp‑up and ongoing operations—while providing a technology roadmap that can evolve with long‑term needs.

Emphasis on Ecosystem Collaboration

Wayne Allan, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Officer of ASML, stated that India possesses a strong foundation for a globally competitive semiconductor industry, supported by a growing market, engineering talent and an expanding ecosystem. He highlighted that collaboration across industry, government, academia and the supply chain is essential to unlock this potential, and affirmed ASML’s commitment to work with ecosystem partners on capability building, talent development and supply‑chain readiness.

Keynote at NEXTGEN Manufacturing Forum

At the NEXTGEN Manufacturing Forum, Wayne Allan delivered a keynote titled “Advancing Semiconductor Projects in India through ASML Technology, Innovation and Collaboration,” reinforcing the importance of ecosystem collaboration, talent development and supply‑chain resilience for India’s long‑term semiconductor growth.

MoU with Tata Electronics

In May 2026, ASML and Tata Electronics signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the development of semiconductor manufacturing capabilities in India. Under the agreement, ASML will assist in the establishment and ramp‑up of Tata Electronics’ upcoming 300 mm semiconductor fab located in Dholera, Gujarat, and will collaborate on talent development, supply‑chain resilience and joint research initiatives.

Local Presence Expansion

Since announcing the partnership, ASML has established a legal entity in India and is in the process of setting up a dedicated customer support office to serve Indian customers directly, marking a significant milestone in its engagement with the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.
