The Hyderabad GCC will be led locally by Joshi Alaparthi, Vice President and Head of India GCC, who will coordinate with US‑based colleagues to drive technology and engineering initiatives for AssetMark’s wealth‑management platform. Senior global leaders involved in the launch include Naomi McKean (Senior Vice President & General Counsel), Alex Pape (Executive Vice President & Chief Technology & Product Officer) and Andy Peterson (Senior Vice President, Head of Product Engineering).

Strategic Rationale and Capabilities

AssetMark highlighted that the centre will leverage artificial intelligence to boost advisor productivity, enhance client service and scale engineering capabilities while retaining human judgement at the core of decision‑making. Chairman and Group CEO Lou Maiuri stated that Hyderabad’s strong ecosystem of technology and financial‑services expertise makes it an ideal location to expand global capabilities and support the next phase of growth. COO Carrie Hansen added that consolidating operations and technology teams in Hyderabad will foster closer collaboration, faster innovation and continuous improvement of both technology and service delivery.

Hiring is underway for roles ranging from senior global leaders managing cross‑regional teams to experienced professionals and early‑career talent. As part of the recruitment drive, AssetMark will partner with Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) to onboard an initial batch of 10‑15 graduates, with plans to expand the programme to additional institutions and disciplines over time, thereby creating a robust pipeline of future talent.
