Aster DM Healthcare invested Rs. 96 crore to expand the Women & Children facility at Aster Whitefield Hospital, increasing bed capacity from 380 to 539 beds.
The expansion includes specialized services such as water birthing, advanced laparoscopic gynaecology, level 3A NICU, fertility centre, and pediatric intensive care unit.
This initiative is part of Aster's broader expansion in Bengaluru, with upcoming hospitals in Yeshwantpur and Sarjapur, increasing total Karnataka capacity to 2,573 beds.
