Merger Completion and Entity Formation
The merger between Aster DM Healthcare Limited and Quality Care India Limited has been successfully completed, resulting in the formation of Aster DM Quality Care Limited. The new entity commenced operations on July 01, 2026.
The name change to Aster DM Quality Care Limited is subject to receipt of Certificate of Incorporation pursuant to the merger. Currently, the entity remains named Aster DM Healthcare Limited.

The merged entity brings together four healthcare brands: Aster DM, CARE Hospitals, Evercare and KIMSHEALTH.

- 39 hospitals across 28 cities
- Over 10,600 beds
- Strong presence across South and Central India

Leadership Structure
Dr. Azad Moopen continues as Executive Chairman of the merged entity. Mr. Varun Khanna leads the business as Managing Director and Group CEO.

The combined entity's mission is to expand advanced healthcare beyond India's metros with focus on:

The group has already introduced the first LINAC-based radiation therapy system in Nagercoil and expanded robotic surgery programmes across Raipur, Trivandrum, Kolhapur with plans for Guntur and Vijayawada.
