The Board of Directors, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has approved the following appointments:

  • Appointment of Mr. Mihir Parikh as Director - Commercial Excellence, BD & Strategy, effective from August 1, 2026. His term of appointment is full-time employment.
  • Appointment of Mr. Amay Ashok Pandey as Director – Oncology Business Unit, effective from September 1, 2026. His term of appointment is full-time employment.
  • Promotion of Mr. Vinay Sharma to Director - Rare Diseases Business Unit from his previous role of Business Unit Head - Rare Disease Business Unit, effective August 1, 2026. This is a change in designation for an existing SMP, and his term remains full-time employment. This promotion was further to a company communication dated March 25, 2024.

Brief Profiles of Appointees (From Annexure A):

Mr. Mihir Parikh: A biopharmaceutical commercial leader with over 15 years of experience in oncology across sales, marketing, leadership, product launches, market access, and commercial strategy in India and international markets. He is currently the Breast Cancer Franchise Lead at AstraZeneca, a role he rejoined in July 2025, responsible for the commercial strategy and growth of ENHERTU. His career includes leadership roles at Novartis and Roche across therapeutic areas including breast cancer, lung cancer, hematology, and immuno-oncology. He is an alumnus of the Indian School of Business and Rutgers University.

Mr. Vinay Sharma: A seasoned healthcare business leader with expertise in strategic launches and franchise building. He has been the Rare Disease Business Unit Head since July 2024. Prior to AstraZeneca India, he led the Respiratory & Immunology Business Unit at AstraZeneca Philippines for over three years and spent nearly a decade at Novartis India in senior sales and marketing roles. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.

Mr. Amay Ashok Pandey: A seasoned oncology commercial leader with nearly a decade of experience at AstraZeneca and over 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He currently serves as Head of Sales & Operations – Oncology on an international assignment in Jakarta. Prior roles at AstraZeneca include Franchise Head - Women's Cancer and Senior Marketing Manager. He has also held leadership roles at Roche, GlaxoSmithKline, Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), and Zydus.

The annexure confirms that there is no disclosure of relationships between directors to be made for any of the appointees (marked 'Not Applicable').
