Ather Energy Limited introduced Konarc TM electric scooter at the fourth edition of Ather Community Day 2026 in Bengaluru. The scooter is built on Ather's new EL platform and designed to make EVs mainstream with focus on ride comfort, range, durability and ease of ownership.
Product Variants and Specifications
Konarc will be available across S and Z product lines with six total variants:
- S line: Four variants with IDC ranges of 100 km, 125 km, 161 km, and 200 km
- Z line: Two variants with IDC ranges of 125 km and 161 km
Color options: Quartz White, Lumen Copper, Celestial Gold, and Majestic Grey (all variants); Steel Blue and Claret Red (exclusive to Z variants)

- 14-inch front alloy wheel and 12-inch rear alloy wheel with new design
- 1,352 mm wheelbase (among longest in scooter segment)
- Relaxed rake angle for planted ride and stability

New Features and Technology
Advanced Electronic Braking System (AeBS™):
- Dynamically adjusts braking force distribution between front and rear wheels based on road conditions
- Uses software and sensors working with existing Ather Drive Controller and motor
- Uses regenerative braking to add braking force and reduce stopping distances
- Reduces wheel lock-ups and improves stability
MagicKey features:
- SmartWake™ allows waking and unlocking without taking key out of pocket
- Automatic locking when rider walks away
- Remote location and seat opening capabilities
- Ping function from 30 metres away triggers sound and light response
- Designed to address key-related hassles like dropping or misplacing keys
AutoPop™:
- Allows triggering under-seat storage from few metres away using MagicKey™
- Button on scooter for close-range operation
- Seat lifts fully to vertical position and stays open
AirWalk™:
- Provides mild assistive torque when scooter detects manual push or pull
- Makes moving scooter easier in tight parking spaces
- Reduces effort when moving with under-inflated tyres
Ownership and Service Updates
Service interval doubled to 10,000 km (roughly once a year for most riders)
Reduced number of checkpoints at each service visit
Platform designed for easier access and replacement of wear-and-tear components
Battery and Charging
Fifth-generation Bedrock™ batteries with 10-year/100,000 km warranty (whichever is earlier)
Warranty guarantees minimum 70% state of health at end of coverage period
Covers battery failures and defects, including periods when scooter not in use
Onboard charger and charging cable integrated (eliminates separate charging brick)
Optional 450W offboard charger available for Combined Charging at 900W
Combined Charging reduces home charging time by up to half

Pricing (effective ex-showroom Bengaluru):

Bookings and deliveries begin mid-September 2026
