The work order pertains to the printing and delivery of AB PM-JAY Cards and AB Vay Vandana Cards for eight districts in West Bengal: Bankura, Birbhum, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong, Murshidabad, Nadia, Purba Bardhaman, and Uttar Dinajpur.
The total quantity under the work order is 2,25,74,669 cards. The total contract value is ₹11,16,13,678 (Rupees Eleven Crore Sixteen Lakh Thirteen Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-Eight Only), inclusive of GST. The stipulated completion period is nine months from the date of issuance of the work order.
Delivery of printed cards is required to be made to designated Block/Municipal officials or other officials authorized by the respective District Magistrates and the Kolkata Municipal Commissioner, in accordance with operational guidelines prescribed by the National Health Authority (NHA). All other terms and conditions are governed by the company's existing contract with the NHA.
The company disclosed that it has been entrusted with similar assignments for printing and supply of Ayushman Cards in other states including Odisha, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, and Maharashtra.
The work order is awarded by a domestic entity and constitutes a domestic service contract. The promoter/promoter group/group companies have no interest in the entity awarding the order, and the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction.
