ATLAS SkillTech University Convocation 2026
ATLAS SkillTech University, described as India’s first urban, multidisciplinary university, conducted its Convocation 2026 on 4 July 2026 at the iconic Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The ceremony marked the graduation of 1,918 students.
The graduating cohort comprised learners from three constituent schools – ISDI School of Design & Innovation, ISME School of Management & Entrepreneurship, and uGDX School of Technology. Collectively, the class represented 443 Indian cities and achieved a balanced gender ratio.
Ronnie Screwvala, Co‑founder and Chairperson of upGrad, served as the Chief Guest. In his address, he urged the graduates to become “problem spotters” rather than merely “problem solvers,” emphasizing that identifying opportunities will define future leaders as India advances toward its 2047 vision.
Dr. Indu Shahani, Founding President and Chancellor of ATLAS SkillTech University, congratulated the Class of 2026 and highlighted the university’s ethos of nurturing curiosity, creativity, empathy, and purpose. She stressed that graduates embody ATLAS Intelligence, possess the confidence to ask meaningful questions, the courage to create new possibilities, and the commitment to lead with integrity.
The university reported that its alumni have secured placements and internships with leading organisations across diverse sectors, including Apple, Deloitte, Accenture, IBM, EY, Capgemini, Infosys, Mahindra Finance, HDFC Bank, Motilal Oswal, Ogilvy, Dentsu, Gaurav Gupta, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Elsie Nanji, BMW, Lodha Group, JSW Realty, upGrad, Philips, Nykaa, and TVS.
In addition to corporate placements, over 200 graduates have launched entrepreneurial ventures spanning design, technology, finance, consumer brands, and creative industries, reflecting the start‑up ecosystem fostered at ATLAS.
A significant number of graduates have also been admitted to prestigious postgraduate programmes at global institutions such as Imperial College London, University College London, Nanyang Technological University, King’s College London, Monash University, Northwestern University, Royal College of Art, University of the Arts London, Parsons School of Design, and Pratt Institute.
ATLAS SkillTech University is situated in Mumbai’s business district and holds a NAAC ‘A’ grade. Guided by the principles of India’s National Education Policy 2020, the university operates four schools: ATLAS ISME (Management & Entrepreneurship), ISDI (Design & Innovation), ATLAS uGDX (Technology), and ATLAS School of Law.
