Overview

AU Small Finance Bank (AU SFB) issued a press release reaffirming its focus on simplifying everyday banking through a refreshed savings‑account proposition that emphasizes competitive interest earnings, digital accessibility, and financial transparency.

Competitive Savings Account Offering

The bank now provides savings accounts that pay interest on a monthly basis, positioning them as a stable, predictable alternative to market‑linked investment products. While specific rate percentages are not disclosed, the offering is marketed toward salaried professionals building emergency funds, students managing their first accounts, and retirees seeking safety.

Digital Banking Platform – AU 0101 App

Central to the digital push is the AU 0101 mobile application, which allows customers to open accounts instantly via Video KYC, transfer funds through UPI, pay bills, and monitor balances 24 hours a day, eliminating the need for branch visits. The app also hosts a Savings Account Interest Rate Calculator, enabling users to estimate potential earnings on their balances before depositing funds.

Savings Account Variants

AU SFB has introduced a suite of savings‑account variants to suit diverse customer needs:

  • Digital Savings Account – fully digital, zero‑minimum‑balance, opened through Video KYC.
  • AU Royale and AU Platinum Savings Accounts – premium accounts with enhanced benefits.
  • AU Value Savings Account – lower minimum‑balance, value‑driven features.
  • AU Kisan Savings Account – tailored for farmers.
  • AU Vikaas and AU Swadesh Savings Accounts – aimed at deepening financial inclusion.
  • AU Kids Savings Account – promotes early financial literacy.
  • AU BSBDA Savings Account – basic, no‑frills account with no minimum balance.

All variants provide the same competitive interest rates, 24 × 7 access via the AU 0101 app, and the interest‑rate calculator.
