AU Small Finance Bank (AU SFB), India's largest small finance bank and the first in over a decade to obtain in‑principle RBI approval to become a universal bank, issued a press release on 10 August 2026 outlining its credit‑card portfolio designed for the upcoming Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan and August travel season.
Credit Card Offerings
- The AU Tejas Credit Card provides cashback and discounts on everyday categories such as food delivery, movies, groceries, utility payments and cab bookings.
- The AU Laksya Credit Card awards 5 reward points for every Rs 100 spent on groceries and contactless payments, gives a flat 15 % discount on groceries and food‑delivery orders, and includes a monthly buy‑one‑get‑one movie‑ticket offer.
- The entry‑level AU Prathama Credit Card targets first‑time users with rewarding everyday spend and flexible payment options.
- The AU Ananta Credit Card adds special benefits for District dining, extra rewards on Raksha Bandhan gifting, complimentary domestic airport lounge access, exclusive travel discounts, No‑Cost EMI on travel bookings through AU Rewardz, a built‑in fuel surcharge waiver, and up to 50,000 additional reward points in the card‑anniversary year.
All cards support instant conversion of eligible purchases into EMIs and No‑Cost EMI options on select bookings via the AU Rewardz platform.
Digital Platform
The AU 0101 mobile‑banking app enables cardholders to track transactions in real time, monitor outstanding balances and interest rates, convert purchases into EMIs in a few steps, and manage credit‑card bill payments within a single interface.
Bank Profile
Founded in 1996 by Mr Sanjay Agarwal, AU SFB began banking operations in April 2017 and is entering its tenth year as a scheduled commercial bank. The bank operates 2,920 touchpoints across 21 states and four union territories, serves more than 1.2 crore customers and employs over 58,400 staff. As of 30 June 2026, shareholders’ funds stood at Rs 20,885 crore, the deposit base at Rs 1,57,727 crore, the total loan portfolio at Rs 1,44,250 crore, and the balance‑sheet size exceeded Rs 1.9 lakh crore. AU SFB is listed on the NSE and BSE.
Credit Ratings
Fixed‑deposit instruments are rated AA+/Stable by CRISIL. Long‑term/subordinated debt and Tier II bonds carry an AA/Stable rating from CRISIL, CARE and ICRA. Short‑term ratings are A1+ from CRISIL, CARE and India Ratings.
