Aukera, India's leading lab‑grown diamond jewellery brand, announced the opening of two new retail locations: its 36th store at Alsa Arcade on 2nd Avenue in Anna Nagar, Chennai (the brand's second store in the city) and its 37th store on 100 Feet Road in Indiranagar, Bengaluru (the twelfth store in its home city). The launches bring the total store count to 37 across the country.
Expansion Timeline
The retailer expanded from 13 stores in June 2025 to 37 stores in November 2026, marking the fastest growth in its history and among the quickest in India's lab‑grown diamond segment. In the 18‑month period, Aukera entered five new markets—Chennai, Pune, Visakhapatnam, Lucknow and Dehradun—bringing its presence to eight cities, with every outlet owned directly by the company.
Funding
The expansion is underpinned by a US$15 million Series B round closed in 2025, led by Peak XV Partners, and a subsequent raise of ₹90 crore in July 2026, led by existing investor Alteria Capital.
Store Offerings & Certifications
Both new stores showcase the full Aukera range, including solitaire and engagement rings, cocktail rings, bands, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, mangalsutras and pendants. Each outlet features a complimentary Diamond Spa and offers an at‑home trial service. Every Aukera diamond is accompanied by an IGI certification; signature solitaires are graded with either GemEx or GCAL 8X, measuring brilliance, fire and scintillation. Aukera holds seven trademarked signature solitaires—such as The Aukera Orchid™, Extra Brilliant™, Enhanced Hearts & Arrows™ and the Ashtalakshmi Solitaire™—which are exclusive to the brand.
