Avas Wellness Expands Alibaug Presence with Integrated Residential, Wellness and Hospitality Offerings
Avas Wellness announced a major expansion in Alibaug, Maharashtra, introducing two new residential communities, one of which is branded Alaaya by Avas. These developments continue the brand’s wellness‑led residential philosophy and broaden its portfolio in the region.
The expansion includes the forthcoming Avas Wellness Club, scheduled to open by the end of 2026. The club will integrate preventive health, longevity, fitness, recovery, nutrition, beauty and skin care services, alongside curated culinary experiences, aiming to embed wellness into everyday life. Ahead of the club’s launch, Avas will roll out a Wellness Club Membership during the Diwali period, initially targeting current residents, their guests, prospective homeowners and select members of the Alibaug community, with the membership program expected to evolve alongside the broader Avās ecosystem.
A dedicated court club will also be created, bringing together racquet sports, fitness facilities and recovery zones to foster community interaction and recreation. Complementing these amenities, Casa Avāna will serve as a standalone destination that merges hospitality, wellness and culture. It will feature dining venues, spa experiences, landscaped gardens, recreation areas, art installations, private gathering spaces and a rotating programme of social events, designed to shift its ambience throughout the day—from quiet wellness mornings to lively evening gatherings.
Architecturally, the new residences will be shaped by Avas Design Studio in collaboration with internationally recognised firms: South African award‑winning practice SAOTA and Madrid‑based architect Felipe Gonsalves of Studio Sukyf. The projects will explore diverse architectural languages, including Neo‑Mediterranean, Spanish Revival, Balinese influences, tropical modernism and contemporary minimalism. Emphasis will be placed on natural materials, generous volumes, landscaped courtyards and gardens, expansive views and fluid indoor‑outdoor transitions, ensuring each home integrates thoughtfully with Alibaug’s tropical landscape.
In a statement, Aditya Kilachand, Founder and CEO of Avas Wellness, said the initiative is not merely another residential development but a reimagining of wellness‑led living, where homes act as a starting point for an ecosystem that blends wellness, hospitality, sport, food, nature and community into daily life.
The timing aligns with significant infrastructure improvements in the region. The Atal Setu bridge has already reduced travel time between Mumbai and Alibaug, enhancing accessibility, while the forthcoming Rewas–Karanja bridge is expected to further strengthen connectivity. These developments are shifting Alibaug’s role from a weekend getaway to a destination suitable for longer‑term, rooted lifestyles, supporting Avas’s vision of an integrated living experience.
