Axis Bank launches Sparsh Week 2026
Axis Bank, one of India’s largest private‑sector banks, announced the launch of Sparsh Week 2026, a flagship customer‑obsession programme scheduled for 7 to 11 September 2026. The theme, “Act with Speed,” underscores the bank’s intent to translate customer insights into faster action and improved experiences.
During the five‑day window the bank aims to conduct more than 2.5 lakh (250,000) customer conversations across a wide array of touchpoints, segments, geographies and life‑stage groups. Over 90 senior leaders will be on the ground, travelling from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Kutch to Kohima, meeting customers and staff at branches, MWBCs, loan centres, Axis Phone locations, and office premises.
A key product innovation introduced during the week is a fully digital, end‑to‑end paperless auto and two‑wheeler financing journey. Powered by automated decisioning, straight‑through processing, digital documentation and seamless dealer integration, the solution promises application‑to‑disbursement in just 30 minutes for eligible existing and new‑to‑bank customers.
The programme also bundles a series of customer‑engagement forums tailored to specific groups:
- Senior Citizen Open Days focusing on retirement, estate planning, digital banking confidence and cyber‑fraud awareness.
- NRI engagement forums to gauge global banking, investment and cross‑border financial needs.
- Women Entrepreneur Connects bringing together women entrepreneurs, SHGs and JLGs for business growth and financial inclusion discussions.
- Wealth Unplugged conversations centred on wealth creation, succession planning and retirement readiness.
- MSME roundtables addressing growth ambitions, digitisation, trade, transaction banking, forex and financing access.
- “Apna Gaon Apna Desh” initiatives for Bharat Banking customers combining listening, financial awareness and community outreach.
- Tractor Loan Carnivals showcasing agricultural financing opportunities.
- Structured listening sessions and gratitude programmes for Corporate and Wholesale Banking clients.
- Additional “Let’s Listen” sessions, Thank‑a‑thons, customer panels and gratitude conversations designed to capture actionable insights.
Parallel to external engagement, Axis Bank employees will participate in capability‑building and recognition activities such as Pulsate, Ignite, AI Masterclasses, fireside chats, hackathons, design‑thinking workshops, customer‑experience simulations, contests, Sparsh Stories, Sparsh Ramp of Impact and leadership conversations.
Since the launch of Sparsh in FY22, the bank’s indexed Retail Bank NPS has shown significant improvement and the bank has strengthened its standing in external customer‑experience benchmarks.
The bank’s operational footprint as of 30 June 2026 includes 6,295 domestic branches (including extension counters), 12,564 ATMs and cash recyclers, and a virtual centre network spanning eight locations with 1,700 Virtual Relationship Managers. The Axis Group comprises Axis Mutual Fund, Axis Securities Ltd., Axis Finance, Axis Trustee, Axis Capital, A.TReDS Ltd., Freecharge, Axis Pension Fund and Axis Bank Foundation.
