The award, presented by Insurance Asia News, recognises excellence across the Asia‑Pacific region and evaluates entries on five core parameters: business performance, measurable achievements, innovation, market impact and strategic significance. The accolade reflects the 16‑year partnership between the insurer and the bank, which combines Axis Bank’s extensive branch network, digital onboarding capabilities and data‑led advisory to broaden life‑insurance access, reportedly protecting over several lakh lives across urban and regional markets. In FY2025‑26, Axis Max Life reported a gross written premium of INR 38,877 crore, underscoring the strong business performance that contributed to the recognition.
