Baba Ramdev Endorses Mahaprabhu Jagannath Film

Renowned yoga guru Baba Ramdev has formally endorsed the upcoming animated feature Mahaprabhu Jagannath, describing the deity as “the lord of our life” and emphasizing that the film’s portrayal of his divine pastimes, teachings and devotion serves to consecrate Sanatan culture for children. Ramdev urged families to watch the movie to reconnect with basic cultural values, concluding with “Jai Jagannath.”

The film is produced by Ele Animations Pvt. Ltd., a Bhubaneswar‑based studio operating since 2008, and is presented as a family entertainer that blends high‑quality animation with cultural education. The creative team includes producer Durga Prasad Dalai, director Shripad Warkhedkar, screenplay and dialogue writer Pallavi Sharma, and music composer Aviral Kumar.

Ele Animations has partnered with Cinepolis to secure a pan‑India theatrical footprint of over 300 screens, releasing the movie in Hindi, Odia and Telugu. In addition to the domestic rollout, the film is slated for international releases in the United States, Canada and Europe. The official release date is set for July 17, 2026, strategically timed one day after the sacred Jagannath Rath Yatra on July 16.

A high‑profile trailer launch was conducted in the presence of Indresh Upadhyaya, drawing an audience of approximately 10,000 devotees. The trailer is available online at https://youtu.be/1s3Yxnd5BM0?si=e2RGmPXIsoHC4Nm9.

The announcement follows the success of the animated television series Jay Jagannath, positioning the new film as a continuation of the franchise’s cultural outreach.
