Press Release – Bajaj Broking Commodity Trading Launch

On 30 October 2026, Bajaj Broking announced from Pune, Maharashtra, India that it has incorporated commodity trading into its digital platforms, thereby expanding the range of markets available to its customers. The new commodity segment includes precious metals, energy, base metals and select agricultural commodities, with both standard and mini contracts offered across the listed categories.

The contracts now available comprise gold, silver, crude oil, natural gas, copper, aluminium, lead and zinc, together with agricultural products such as Kapas, cardamom and mentha oil. By providing different contract sizes, the platform allows users to select instruments that match their specific trading requirements.

In addition to the contract offerings, the platform features a commodity options chain that displays Greeks, giving traders measures of an option’s sensitivity to underlying price changes, volatility and time to expiry. Users can place basket orders to group multiple orders into a single submission, and can choose between intraday and normal product types, subject to the applicable contract and margin requirements. The system also supports Good Till Triggered (GTT) orders, which automatically initiate an order when predefined trigger conditions are satisfied. Execution of all orders remains subject to the relevant order conditions and market availability.

Real‑time market data and charts are integrated into the interface, enabling price tracking and order placement from a single screen. Commodity price alerts can be set so that users receive notifications when selected price levels are reached. Brokerage fees and statutory charges are displayed upfront, providing clear visibility into the total trading cost.

A Bajaj Broking spokesperson commented, “With the launch of our Commodities segment, we are broadening the range of markets accessible through Bajaj Broking while bringing together features for options analysis, order execution and price monitoring. Our focus remains on building a technology‑led trading platform that combines market access with useful functionality and greater visibility into trading costs.”

The announcement marks a further expansion of Bajaj Broking’s trading offering, adding a broader set of commodity contracts and supporting analytical tools to its digital platform.
