Bajaj Finance Personal Loan – Extended Tenure Offering

Bajaj Finance Ltd., a subsidiary of Bajaj Finserv Ltd. and an RBI‑registered deposit‑taking NBFC (NBFC‑D) classified as an NBFC‑Investment and Credit Company (NBFC‑ICC), has announced an enhanced personal loan product aimed at supporting households during the Diwali 2026 festive season. The loan amount range is Rs 40,000 to Rs 55 lakh, and borrowers can choose repayment tenures from a minimum of 12 months up to a maximum of 108 months, providing flexibility to spread repayments over a longer period.

The interest rate applicable to the personal loan varies between 10% and 30.5% per annum, with the exact rate determined based on the lender’s assessment of the individual borrower’s credit profile and the specific loan terms offered. While a longer tenure reduces the monthly EMI, it also increases the total interest payable over the life of the loan, a trade‑off highlighted by the lender.

The product is unsecured, meaning no collateral is required from the borrower. The application process is primarily online, requiring minimal documentation, and is designed for quick approval. Upon approval, funds may be disbursed within 24 hours, although the actual disbursement timeline can depend on verification and documentation requirements. Applicants are advised to review the final loan offer, including the EMI, interest rate, tenure, processing fees and any other charges, before acceptance.

Bajaj Finance emphasizes responsible borrowing, urging customers to assess their financial position, borrow only the amount needed, and ensure that the repayment plan aligns with their monthly budget. The lender suggests using an EMI calculator to compare different loan amounts, interest rates and tenures, thereby enabling borrowers to make informed decisions.
