Bajel Projects Limited has formally entered into an agreement with Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) for the construction of two contiguous sections (Lot 1 and Lot 5) of a 500 kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) in Egypt. This agreement follows the company's earlier intimation dated April 29, 2026 regarding "Bagging of order for Transmission Lines in MENA Region".

The signing ceremony took place in Cairo, Egypt on July 22, 2026, with the agreement signed by Mr. Rajesh Ganesh, Managing Director & CEO of Bajel Projects Limited. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Mr. Suresh K. Reddy, Ambassador of India to Egypt, Eng. Mona Rezk (Chairman of EETC), and Eng. Ahmed Fathy (Head of Central Projects Sector, EETC).
