Bandhan Bank Announces Fixed Deposit Interest Rates

Bandhan Bank, headquartered in Kolkata, issued a press release on 14 July 2026 stating that it will offer a maximum Fixed Deposit (FD) interest rate of 7.95% for senior‑citizen customers on deposits with a tenure of two years to less than three years. Non‑senior customers will receive 7.45% for the same tenure. For longer‑term deposits of less than five years, senior citizens are offered 7.75% while other customers will earn 7.25%. In addition, the bank has introduced a savings‑account rate of 6.5% on balances ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Customers may open these Fixed Deposits through Bandhan Bank’s retail internet‑banking platform or the mBandhan mobile application.
