Bandhan Bank received RBI prior approval for appointing Mr. Debasish Panda as Part-Time Chairman for three years.
Mr. Panda is a former IRDAI Chairman and IAS officer with extensive financial sector governance experience.
The appointment proposal will next be considered by the Bank's NRC and Board for final approval.
