BCGCL and MCL Sign Land Lease for Coal-to-Ammonium Nitrate Project

BCGCL and MCL signed a land lease for a 2000 TPD coal-to-ammonium nitrate project in Odisha, supported by ₹1,350 crore in financial incentives.
The project uses indigenous gasification technology and is part of a ₹8,500 crore government outlay for coal gasification, with 7 projects approved.
The ₹25,000 crore project aims to reduce import dependency and is expected to be completed on schedule with site works already underway.
