Berkshire Hathaway disclosed a $2.65 billion purchase of Delta Air Lines shares, adding a sizable airline position.
The conglomerate also took a small stake in Macy’s while divesting holdings in Amazon, UnitedHealth, Visa, Mastercard and Aon.
These moves follow Greg Abel’s recent promotion to CEO and Todd Combs’ departure to JPMorgan Chase for a new initiative.
Market reaction showed Delta down 1.83%, Amazon down 1.13%, while Visa and Mastercard rose modestly.
