Press Release – Beyondsoft at Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026
Beyondsoft, a global technology services firm, showcased its financial artificial‑intelligence and digital solutions during Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK 2026 on 3 November 2026. The exhibition featured three core offerings: an AI agent platform that integrates large‑language models with industry knowledge bases to support risk management, fund oversight, automated regulatory reporting and targeted customer engagement; a mobile application development platform that enables rapid creation and updates of financial apps across multiple device environments, improving development efficiency; and an enterprise digital‑currency payment collection system delivered as a customised software‑as‑a‑service model for financial institutions and corporate clients.
The Beyondsoft team engaged with financial institutions, technology firms and industry organisations to explore AI application use‑cases, implementation challenges and collaborative opportunities across Southeast Asia. Discussions centred on identifying the most valuable financial AI agent functions, assessing business value and potential partnerships in mobile financial services and digital payments.
Adapting China’s Fintech Experience
Ariel Lin, leader of Beyondsoft’s Innovation Lab and AI Practice, delivered a presentation on translating China’s fintech capabilities to Southeast Asian markets. Lin highlighted China’s achievements in core banking, AI‑powered lending at scale and generative AI production, stressing that successful international expansion requires technical expertise, experienced personnel and proven delivery practices in addition to product export. He noted that customer expectations, operational models and infrastructure differ across the region, necessitating solution adaptation and collaboration with local teams to build and sustain capabilities. Knowledge transfer and technology sharing were presented as mechanisms to help local businesses develop these skills over time.
Regulatory Landscape Across Southeast Asia
Lin examined regulatory variations in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, focusing on data‑protection rules, biometric identity‑verification standards, fairness and explainability requirements for AI‑assisted decisions, and local banking‑secrecy and credit‑information mandates for financial data sharing. He emphasized that cross‑border projects must embed compliance from the outset, ensuring data use aligns with purpose‑limitation and consent obligations, biometric applications meet liveness‑detection and accuracy criteria, and AI decisions are transparent and equitable.
Cross‑Border Delivery Experience
Beyondsoft cited its work for the overseas branches of a Chinese global bank, which involved personal and corporate mobile banking, credit‑card applications, mobile workplace tools and mobile learning platforms. The projects demanded deep financial‑systems development expertise, coordination across platforms and complex delivery management to ensure applications interoperate, support business continuity and satisfy regional regulatory requirements.
International Presence and Capabilities
With its International Headquarters in Singapore, Beyondsoft leverages a global talent network of nearly 30,000 professionals and more than 30 years of experience. Its service portfolio spans AI and data intelligence, cloud and infrastructure, digital platforms, enterprise applications, managed services and localisation capabilities. The company aims to explore AI applications and service models suited to Southeast Asian markets, partnering with industry players to embed AI into financial business processes.
