Bhansali Engineering Polymers Limited has commissioned a 1,300 KW DC capacity ground-mounted Solar Power Plant at its manufacturing unit located in Satnoor, Madhya Pradesh. The capital expenditure for this project was ₹642.00 Lakhs (₹6.42 Crores).
The contract for the Design, Engineering, Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of the Solar Power Plant was awarded to Greenergy Solar Systems, which is identified as an authorised channel partner of Tata Power Solar Systems Limited.
The primary objective of this installation is to increase the company's utilisation of renewable energy for its operations and to reduce its dependence on conventional sources of energy. This initiative is stated to be in line with the company's continued focus on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable business practices.
